The Head of the Public Law Department at the College of Law at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Adel Kazim Saud, participated in a workshop on enhancing dialogue between authorities in the Iraqi government and human rights stakeholders.
The workshop aimed to develop a national strategy to combat terrorism in partnership with the United Nations Mission, the European Union, and the (CT PHARE) Participatory Platform (International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law).
The workshop witnessed broad national participation represented by human rights departments in ministries, the National Security Advisory, a representative of the Prime Minister for Human Rights, and the Iraqi Human Rights Monitoring Society.
